Hi all. I just purchased a 2010 A5 2.0T and was wondering whether the touch lock/unlock feature on the door handle is standard or is it part of an option package (i.e., convenience package)? My A5 doesn't have the convenience package, but it does have the little sensor on the door handle. Although, it doesn't seem to work; since nothing happens when I touch it.

That feature is called the Audi Advanced Key (Keyless Start/Stop and Entry). If your car didn't come equipped with it, the small squares on the door handles are just covers. They won't have the touch sensor in it.

In MY2010, the Audi A5 2.0T came in three flavours: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. Only Prestige trim got the Audi Advanced Key system as standard. Audi Advanced Key was not offered as an option for the two lower trim lines.
