2010 S5
Hi guys, I'm coming to the experts. Found this 2010 S5,car looks great, mileage is low and price is in my ballpark but I'm concerned about the mods. I'd be trading in my E46 M3 and I'm looking for something I can drive a few more months of the year and a little less maintenance intensive. Is this something I should snap up or stay away from .

Does it come with service records? Have all of the mods been professionally installed? Id make sure everything that isn't stock is installed from a trustworthy mechanic. Other than that, sounds like the car is in good condition. You got pics?

Sorry!
I came across this as I was reading the forums now that I'm part of the club. Ironically I'm the one who purchased the vehicle. I had been searching daily for a while and I thought this car was a solid buy. There's a 2013 model with 60k miles on autotrader that I would recommend to you. Had I not bought the 2010 I would had probably bought the 2013 I just mentioned as it has wheels that I like, the new steering wheel and the nicer shift ****. All of these things I'll be looking to slowly replace on my car if I can afford it while paying for classes. Once I get the car I'll finish updating my profile and if you have any further questions I'm an open book.

Yes i was. The exhaust clamps needed replacing as thy were rusty. No other rust on car. I’m guessing that the clamps were a lower quality metal… They also identified some slightly been radiator fans on the supplementary radiator in the front and the snow screen was broken and the last thing is that the battery needed replacement other than that they said that everything was good to go so we negotiated price and made a deal contingent on replacing the clamps and the battery while decreasing the total cost of purchase.
