2011 S5 Backup Cam Brightness

There's a way to turn up the brightness on the MMI independent of the dash lights themselves. I have a 2014 S5 (B8.5 with the specs in my sig) so it may be slightly different than your B8, but I can assume it will be similar. Here's how to change the MMI brightness....and effectively the backup cam...
1. Press the "Menu" button on the MMI console below the shifter bringing up the main Menu screen.
2. Press the upper right silver selector button above the selector ****. That will select the "Setup MMI" screen.
3. Select the "Display Settings" on the "Setup MMI" Menu screen.
4. This will give you two options......Turn off Display and Display Brightness.....select Display Brightness.
5. Turn your MMI **** left or right to change the brightness.
....voila....
Attached are photos of the process.
I've also attached a photo of my MMI software version and Navigation version. To find this out just keep scrolling down on the "Setup MMI" screen and select "Version Information".
Hope this helps....
