Default 2014 A5 M6 Clutch question

I have a 2014 A5 with about 70,000 miles. I have driven sticks my entire life and once had a clutch make it to over 150,000 and I don't road race my cars.

Anyway I had a situation when releasing the clutch while accelerating, my foot had totally released the clutch pedal but it was not engaged. It eventually engaged but it was a bit hairy. My dealer checked things out and said all was good. I have a very good dealer I have known for years and is trustworthy. This particular behavior has happened maybe 3 or 4 times over a year, usually when accelerating hard from a stop or in second, almost like a vacuum thing. But it is not fun to be accelerating and thinking your clutch is engaged as the pedal is up but the RPM's keep going up because it is not!

A month later and a few weeks ago I notice this. In first gear when accelerating from a stop, not aggressively just normally, I feel like what I would call a "chatter" or a "not smooth" engagement of the clutch as it engages in first gear which I do not notice this in the other gears. I am not sure how else to describe it but a subtle hesitation but it is not the engine, it is the clutch as it starts moving from a stop. I have to try really, really, really hard to get it going and not have it do this now. My dealer rode with me and felt it as a passenger but when a mechanic and manager drove it, they thought all was "normal".

Now I drive my car every day and being a car guy, I know it is different. And i don't like it. But I certainly don't want to pay for a clutch tear down just to verify things especially when dealer says I don't need one and this year/model does not have any little window you can see in.

Has anyone else experienced this? I am not even sure the explanation makes sense but it is what is happening and really detracts from my enjoyment of this car which I really like!
Thanks,
BJBBJB
