Feedback please. I'm currently aggressively looking at a low mileage S5 Cabrio that is Certified. The Trim/interior feel a lot frankly like my 2015 Q5. Here's my issue - all the reviews I can search for online show for the 2017 A5 or S5 seem to actually reflect the model changeover for the 2018 s5 cabrio but still are calling it a 2017.

I can't find when they started to switch over and discontinue the 2017 into the new model. I'm curious for any of you that have a 2017 S5 - any regrets? Did you consider the 2018 model redesign? How has your 2017 held up? I'm so intrigued, and feels like a pretty good deal, it seems I'm searching for ways to talk myself out of it (but I really don't want to).

Ok, well, I did it anyway! Seemed like a decent deal and hard to pass up on a 2017 low mileage S5 Cabrio! If I could have had everything, I'd have taken this in blue and with 20 speakers (vs 14), but this baby still looks great in white with black tech interior. Certified warranty extension with unlimited mileage, which is really helpful. So... I'm excited to put the top down and get to spring, Minnesota! Help me out sunshine!

Production on the B8 S5 model ended last quarter 2016, production on the new B9 S5 commenced either late February or March 2017. Both made at Neckarsulm. Possible confusion is that foreign (to you) reviews will describe the car by its production year. The MY is a sales year which is unique to how Audi of America describe the vehicles.

Not that any of this matters now, looks like you've got yourself a great car there.
