Can’t wait for Spring! Bought a set of wheels off of a 2014 RS7 with very low miles last Fall. Tried them on and they make my 2012 S5 pretty aggressive. I need to watch out for pot holes more carefully once I drive it again this Spring.
Pot holes and even highway joints might be a killer. I can't imagine running an even smaller/shorter sidewall then the oem 20"s.

Funnily enough, I think the sidewalls are too tall, the car has been raised appreciably over OEM, like it's on stilts. These must have the original tyres from the RS7, a 275/30R21, which aren't correct for a B8 S5. They would need to be a 25 profile to be remotely in the ball park of correct.
This looks all wrong to me, I'd be more worried about handling, steering and braking than potholes. The suspension geometry is going to be off, so will speedo, odo, etc. Audi do use suspension engineers, LOL!
Still, each to their own. Be boring if we all liked the same thing.

Every one of those aspects is exactly what I was leading up to in my first post. To be anywhere near correct oem circumference/diameter, you'd have to use a 25 or maybe even less of an aspect ratio in order to remain close to oem specs.
I think we're both on the same page on this? And although I can empathize with his desire for a larger wheel, the safety aspects just can't be ignored. What is actually going to be gained by this anyway?
We are on the same page, but I got the distinct impression that the OP was planning on using the existing (RS7 spec) tyres. If he was to mount the correct tyres, I'd imagine a B8 S5 on a 25 aspect ratio would be almost unbearable on anything other than a billiard table, but at least the geometry would be right.

Thanks for your input guys. Yes, after driving the car on uneven and frost heave heavy roads here in the White Mountains of NH last weekend, I decided not to use these wheels on my S5. Even though I've seen several S5 owners on this forum with 21 inch wheels, I couldn't bear compromising the ride quality without modifying my suspension on the car.
So I installed the wheels on my A8L Tdi instead. I've been driving the car all week and its so far been a great set of wheels and tires for it for Summer driving.
