Ugly duckling. This is worse than the Acura TL's facelift.

It's one of those facelifts that's different just to be different, but not necessarily better. Lexus has been guilty of some recent facelifts that had the same outcome. I do however like the new LED headlights. The light tube instead of the jewelry bulbs looks far cleaner and more modern.
I have a feeling I'll get used to this facelift, but it will still be one that really didn't need to happen. That's just a testament to how good the current A/S5 really is.

New headlights sadly remind me of the Chrysler 300. Turning signals in the taillights look nice. The supercharged V6 makes me happy I have a 2011. I wouldn't say the facelift is ugly, but I like the look of the "older" A5/S5 better. Maybe the new one will grow on me, who knows?

I wasn't a fan of the new headlights when I first saw it too, but the more I look at it, the more I'm starting to like it...

I put this comparison pic together to show a friend, and while I was putting it together, I (again), started to fall for the new redesign...

The question is WHY? What a pity...

The back looks better. The front is where they screwed it up. Should have left the headlights alone. If they wanted to look more current, they could have converted the LED bulbs into a light tube, but kept the same shape.
