Default adaptive cruise- how well does it work?

anyone have adaptive cruise? would it work well in LA traffic? (i.e. stop-and-go, or at the very least rapid changes in pace)

Default Would not suggest it for LA traffic, but open roads is fine

It uses the Parking sensors and front radar to determine the rate of distance, with a built in safety margin.

Default I think it works amazing, only tried in on a 4 lane road but followed the car through the turn

as it's supposed to. I think I tried it again on a Q7 with the next generation ACC like what should be in the S5. It will come to a complete stop but from what I remember only hold it for maybe 30 seconds then warn you to brake.
