Default Anyone done European delivery?

Folks,

I am planning to purchase my new S5 via the European delivery program. Would like to find out how the experience was for any who did this.

I have no experience with it, but there is a European Delivery subforum here that should have a lot of info for you.

Thanks! I am excited. Germany, Audi, beers, castles and busty blonde German babes! Time of my life.

Default I did European Delivery for my A5...

Best vacation I ever took in Europe. Plan a good route and deviate often. The fun thing is that you can do a long one-way trip from Ingolstadt to pretty much anywhere else on the continent. Great time!

I had badly wanted to take Euro Delivery for my A5. But then I found out they were eliminating the manual transmission for the 3.2 engine in 2010. By the time I found out it was too late to order a 2009 car, and I had to scuttle my plans for European Delivery (I didn't want the 2.0T).

I'm still very disappointed that I didn't get to do it. We had planned to pick the car up in Germany and make our way to Italy.

If you can, give me a week to respond to your questions. I'm actually sitting in a hotel in Zurich this very moment having just finished my European Delivery experience this very day by dropping off my new S5 to be shipped back to the US. So, my European Delivery experience is about as current as you can ask for. I'm flying back tomorrow morning and plan to post a new thread with my experiences and pictures soon after I get back.

Short answer: European Delivery is well worth it.
