Ok, guys, I'm totally annoyed, now, I've been waiting since NOvember 3, 2007 for my car? I actually got a call from dealer on allocation on a car that would arrive in July, but I said, know I'm working another dealer. This dealership is utterly devoide of any organization they are a new Audi Dealership?

Now they are telling me my
'08 Order has been reordered and I won't see the car until September '09, nearly a 10 month wait. My question is the '08 orders are being converted to '09, so I don't want a new order, I want them to use my '08 order that way my order should be filled sooner, '08 even though they will be '09 cars I'm sure will get filled before a new '09 order?

Anyone else in this same boat? What have you been told about when you may get your car?

I was told that my '08 order will be converted to an '09 (ordered 1/08), but I will not lose my spot in line (currently 3rd at dealership). I am told to expect my car in September or October.

To be safe, check to see if they will honor your '08 pricing

Most places will say sorry sold out. The last of the 2008 models will be delivered end of July, then there is some retooling. So yes Augusst/Sept is an accurate time frame. The car is wll worth the wait and at a steal of a price compared to other countries...

S4/S5 transition

My dealer said May, then late June then July, maybe. Disappointing. Why doesn't Audi have a handle on this? Are they just a fly by the seat car company that fills orders at a whim? Automate this! Bring yourself into the 2000's, like BMW has. Audi sees how many cars are being ordered. They know what their plant capabilities are.

The same thing happened to me! I ordered a 2008 in Feb. They promised delivery in May/June. They recently called and said that I will no longer get my 2008. It will be a 2009 and the new delivery date is August. Also, they cannot tell me the new price. So I need to agree to order the car without knowing the new price. It is ridiculous to me that audi is doing this. I doubt that Mercedes or BMW would have handled this situation in the same way. To make my situation worse, I have a current lease with them that expires in May. They have now totally screwed me and are giving me a very hard time about keeping my currently lease until their botched order shows up from never-never-land. I'm pissed as hell with Audi!
