My dealer has an inbound 2013 S5 Cabriolet, due to arrive mid-June. They marked it as sold to me in their computer so I get first shot.

It’s Monsoon Gray Metallic. I have never seen the color, and they don’t have any cars in stock in that color.

How does it compare to my Quartz Gray Metallic A5 Cab? Thoughts on color?

Its a great color...saw it in person s few weeks ago. Falls in between quartz and daytona, but leans more toward daytona.

It has a stronger green tone to it than Quartz. Nice color.

I would strongly suggest you look at it before making a commitment. I had a Daytona Gray S5 Cab and it could look pretty dull in the convertible setup. I though Monsoon Gray looked the same. If I had it to do over, I would go with Ice Silver, Quartz Gray or Black.

FYI, I just traded my S5 Cab for a '13 GS350 F Sport, so I am being totally objective. I often thought the Daytona Gray Cab looked pretty dull.

The inbound Monsoon Gray is a Prestige with Sports Rear Differential.

They also have a Phantom Black inbound. It's also a Prestige, but is equipped with Drive Select and Comfort Package. Don't know if I want to spend the extra $$$ on equip I really don't need. Plus my Q7 is black.

Both are supposed to arrive within a week of each other. I may wait to make a decision until then. My wife said she would be okay with gray, but a bit darker than the A5, so Monsoon just might work.
