Back from European Delivery...
What an incredible experience. Picked up the A5 in Ingolstadt on August 29. Audi was FANTASTIC! Picked us up in a chauffeured A8L, put us at a nice hotel, picked us up in the morning...red carpet all the way. Factory tour was awesome, the museum was great, food, etc....all excellent.
And then they gave us the car. It exceeded expectations, not having seen a 2009 S-Line with the Alcantara. Absolutely love it! We put exactly 1000 miles on it over the next ten days. We drove to Regensburg, Germany, then to Munich, then to Lindau, Germany...making great stops along the way. After that, we drove to Davos and over the alps into Northern Italy (Trent, to be exact). We spent the next couple of days tooling around the lakes in Northern Italy and down to the Mediterranean. We spent a night in the Italian Riviera, gambled in Monaco, and then ended the voyage in Nice. Absolutely fantastic trip!
I highly recommend European Delivery to anyone.
Oh, and if you've seen the episode of Top Gear where they drive from Davos over Stelvio Pass into Northern Italy, it's all true...the road is fantastic! I took the picture below just as we came into Davos. Great area!
Now...one to two months and I get it here!

sounds amazing! thinking about doing the same... if you dont mind me asking did you get a discount from audi? i know BMW gives discounts for ED but not sure about Audi

Tell me more about your trip! Im going in a week and a half!
What was your favorite place? Is there anything you wish you would have done at the Audi facility? How was Davos, and where are the rest of the pictures??? Where did you drop your car, and were there any problems with that? I have a trip to the Nurburgring planned when I get there!

How was the weather for the most part?
Wondering how much sunlight I can expect when I pick up my car in 2 weeks.
