Ball Joint failure/control arm
Anyone had any issue with the ball joint failure. I was luckily driving at a slow rate of speed around my neighborhood (30 mph) when I heard a loud pop and lost all control of the car. I hit the brakes and then the sewer curb and came to a stop. The car has massive suspension damage along with body damage. Audi is not taking responsibility for it. I noticed that there have been old post about this issue, but anyone had any current dealing with the ball joint failure?

Why doesn't anyone ever indicate year/model (A5/S5)/mileage when they post these questions? How is anyone supposed to come back with a halfway intelligent answer?

2014 A5 with 15000 miles. Had the ball joint issue on Friday and after several internet searches appears there were problems in the past but not sure if anyone has had any current problems.
