Default Buy or Not to Buy

Ahoy all, so I’m looking to buy an Audi. I found an 2010 S5 with 100k miles on it for $14,600. My questions are.

How does the V8 engine hold up at such a high mileage? And is this a good buy?

It sounds like the biggest problem would be carbon buildup on the intake valves. This can be remedied with the cocoa shell blasting. Have to remove the intake manifold, which doesn't look too bad.
I can't tell you if this is a good deal or not. There are a lot of variables to consider, like condition and history. It doesn't sound like a bad price. I just paid a hell of a lot more for a 2011 with 23k on it.
