if you go to a car buying site like CARS or Autotrader, you can see lots of pictures. It's a nice color. Not sporty what so ever. It's not really gray at all. It has a brown cast to it.

My RS5 never looks brown to me. Lighting does make a huge difference. Bright sun, the car is a dark blue-gray silver though often looks darker than reality in photographs. Cloudy weather can bring out a hint of blue-green. Mostly, it's a Dolphin type of gray color to me ... horses for courses.

Remember it is a Pearl, not metallic, paint. Meaning the flake is multi-colored mica, not simply silver aluminum flake.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about Dakota Gray, not Daytona Gray. When I bought my S5, they had a Dakota Gray A5 in the showroom, and it IS a brownish color (I had to ask because it actually looks really good in person, and I'm not a fan of brown).

Just a small point - there is Daytona Gray (Pearl) which is the color of the RS5 above, and there is Dakota Gray, which is more of a brownish color.

I have an RS5 in Daytona Gray, looks identical to the pictures above.
