Hello Audi Forume Friends.

I have a question regarding to the setting of the Drive Select on my 14 S5.
Is it normal for the selected drive mode (Dynamic or Individual) returns to factory default setting after turned off the engine?
On my car, the selected driving mode (dynamic or individual or others) does not retain after the engine is turned off. I just test drove the 2017 A4 and noticed that the drive select setting is retained as the engine turned off.

Those who have the 2014 Audi; do you see the same issue as mine?

You are the second person reporting that their 2014 is not retaining the last drive select mode. Now I'm starting to think there might be a bug in some 2014. Starting with model year 2013, it should retain the last drive select mode by key fob along with the Individual settings and then when the same key fob is used again it should restore the previous settings along with climate control and seat position. The other person that reported this has a tune, though, so it's possible the bug is in the tune. Are you tuned or did you make some vagcom mods?

No my car is not tuned. I have asked the Audi service consultant and salesperson; neither one knows why.

I am noticing the same thing on my 2015 RS5 i recently purchased. Is there a way to program the key or is it just remembering the last setting?

I tested over a few days and mine retains the last mode selected. I'm not sure if this is a setting or linked to a key.

I own a '16 S5 and it retains the ADS setting every time I re-start it.
