Engine coolant liquid spilled all over my engine bay and dried up...

When I got into an accident a couple months ago, the engine coolant system got damaged and they had to replace it. I am guessing while they were replacing the engine coolant container the remainder in the tube/piping spilled into the engine and dried up. The body shop decided not to clean this up and so I have a pretty messy engine bay as you can see. Now I told the body shop about this and they said they would take care of it, but I am concerned that they might damage something if they don't be careful. Does anyone have experience with something like this? Is this easy to clean or is it a difficult job? I wasn't as worried until my an Audi service advisor told me that you have to be really careful otherwise the car can get really messed up. Any help would be appreciated.

shouldn't be too difficult to do yourself...
warm water and moistened paper towels should do the trick.
I've cleaned up coolant spills before. If you're careful, you won't have any problems. Don't trust the body shop; they were careless in the first place!

You're lucky you have not had a coils short out on you
I've heard that any moisture (especially forced i.e. Powerwash) of the engine spells disaster coils go bad, check engine light start flashing and cars start stalling/shuddering... Be very, very careful. Only wipe it down, don't poor water over it.

I spoke to the manager of service and he didn't even consider giving me anything back...
Actually he gave me a attitude in letting me know that I won't receive any kind of refund or anything. Oh well, I'll just do whatever I can through the survey.
