Default Get splash guard mud flaps?

I just saw that my A5 does not have splash guards? ebay has them for around $110.00. Are they worth it or will they detract from the car's look? am in the midwest so where we get a lot of snow...
Thx

Definately detracts from the look, but then again, we don't have snow in Houston

I had them on my S4 and while I agree that they detracted from the look (although you get used to them) they sure kept those lower panels in pristine condition. No road tar to clean and best of all, no paint chips from stones, gravel and road salt.
I also live in the Midwest and the only drawback (other than the look) was that more snow and ice would accumulate by having the splash guards on but after 130,000 miles on the S4, the bottom panels looked much better than the front bumper and hood.
I'd suggest actual Audi guards instead of aftermarket just for the snug fit, easy installation and quality. I'll be looking at them for this winter, too.

Spend the money on clear bra for the bumper and the same 3M material for & aft of the wheels...Well worth it. I will never get a new car again without have this installed.
Oh...and go with a custom cut (one stretched piece of film over the front, cut to the details rather than a pre-cut "kit").
