Yes my 2015 s5 was upgraded to this a few months back by the dealer. MMI went dead this was the fix advised by Audi

Running the same for no other reason than I can now hack it and run a wifi hotspot via my phone. Really didn't notice any difference coming from firmware _K06...

Are you talking about the known wi-fi workaround via the USB port, D-Link to USB adapter etc? Or did you somehow modify the software to add wi-fi tethering/hot-spot some other way?

doesn't work well with my iPhone as the personal hotspot feature (setting) needs to be at least looked at every time I get in the car for it to connect...so I popped the car SIM back in for now. I was thinking to buy the LTE mini router and forgo the iphone all together- and just swap that hardware in front of the D-Link RJ45 to USB adapter. What do you think?
