Greetings all. I have joined the forum for a specific reason. My uncle had leased a A5 coupe back in 2010, and has accidentally pulled it's nose loose on the driver's side with a parking curb. I know enough about cars to realize it's nose and fender are not damaged, and could be fixed easily by replacing the plastic clip by the wheelwell on the bottom front edge of the fender. I guess these clips are deigned to "pop" if needed ? Anyway, I need to replace the clip, and would like to order one from Audi, but I do not have the VIN # to the car, and the people behind the counter are telling me they can't get the part without the VIN. I know that's wrong information, but, whatever. Does anybody know, have, or know where I could get the part number for them to order ? I would appreciate any help offered. Thanks

Why don't you ask your uncle for the VIN?

The VIN number is right in front of your nose under the driver's side of the windshield.
