Default Just back from Geneva Motor Show. My A5 & S5 opinion and pics...

Living in Zurich has it's advantages, as I can go to the show each year.
Gotta say the car looked good in photos, but it looks absolutely awesome in the "flesh".
The lines, proportions, interior and build quality are all amazing !
I'm in love BIG time :-)

Default got back today too - you missed a trick

on the 'floor' they had a silver (can't remember which), a meteor grey (the colour I originally wanted, but thought a but flat) and a grey from exclusive range (think it was oyster)

but upstairs in the roped off section, they had one in phantom black. it looked tremendous! I'm getting my S5 in that colour

as for the roof, very dissapointed. it tilts up a tiny amount, perhaps an inch, but according to the sales girl, doesn't slide open. what a complete waste of time. unless the girl got it wrong, as the full electrics are never on at the show. the brochure says tilt & slide, so I'm now confused....

Default No, still not seen it fully retracted...

There was no power in the car, so not possible to open it.
I've heard that the glass moves back on the OUTSIDE of the roof!
That will look very strange and really screw up the aerodynamics whilst generating considerable wind noise too.

Nice one. Clear you had the VIP tickets. Roof sounds like a poor solution :-(

If "slide" doesn't indicate it opens more than shown in the pics, they need to fire some folks.

Default The way I usually use a sunroof...

Is rear tilt up for ventilation. I'm OK with this configuration.
