Milltek drone on 2012 S5 Coupe Tiptronic
Hi all,
I had a Milltek non-resonated exhaust fit on my 2012 Audi S5 Coupe Tiptronic last week. I told the mechanic not to make it too loud so he left the stock downpipes on the car and just installed the Milltek catback. I love the sound! However when accelerating between 1500 and 2000 RPMs (especially in higher gears) there is a annoying drone.
Does anyone else have a drone with Milltek on the V8 Tiptronic? Is it possible that the drone is caused by the Milltek catback being fitted with the stock downpipes?
Thanks for your help,
James
