Default Moon roof drain (drivers side)

Hello Everyone,

For the past months I have noticed water hitting my left foot and a puddle of water under my floor mates. After recently researching this problem. It looks like a lot of Audi fans are experiencing the same issue when you get near 100K miles.

I heard using an air compressor in the drain hole will help clean the line out. Has anyone ever attempted this or did they just take it to the stealership (Audi)

Thanks
Stefano

Default If you do that you're likely to blow off the tubes

Best way appears to be to use a thin wire and probe the lines. Chances are they're plugged from the top, though. Look underneath the dad and fine the outlets, look like rubber **** with slice across the end, a one-way valve.

Remove the screw from up under the Air Bag sign on the A Pillar. Now you can unsnap the pillar from the fram. To gain access to the drivers side Moonroof drain hose remove the sunvisor from the drivers side. This should give you enough room to access the hose and its connection as seen in the attached photos. I had the exact same thing. The sealant connecting the drain hoe to the rubber connector had deteriorated. I used all weather silicon sealant. Let it dry and put everything back together. Dealership was gonna charge me $900...... fixed it for free as I already had the sealant.
