My new 2013 S5 arrived!
 

Well 10 days after it arrived in port at San Diego, my new baby is in the garage! She arrived at the dealer yesterday at 5:00 PM, and I picked her up today at Noon.

What fun she is! Having a blast setting up all the toys in the MMI, and the DVD playback looks great, and sounds better!

What a machine! This is my first Audi, and you guys were spot on about what nice cars these are! Don't miss the old C55 AMG a bit!

Two mods already! Removed the front Lic plate holder, and installed a K&N air filter. Next I hard wire the Passport 9500 in, and get the windows tinted.

Were your dates close to what is on your vehicle order?

I've seen a device where you can flip the front license plate and tuck it away while driving. Obviously this will vary legally from state to state. But your front plate must be showing if parked in public and you're in a 2 plate required state.

I wish I had more order info...

All I was told by the dealer was, I should have it on 8/25/2012.

Have your salesperson email you a PDF version of your order. They'll blacken out items related to dealer invoice but you'll see everything that was ordered and dates as I have listed above. Otherwise, they could sell to someone else at a sweeter profit who doesn't want to wait and just order your car again. It can and does happen.

I've seen 2 Ice Silver 2013 S5's so far and it looks amazing!!! Really shows off the subtle curves. It's 100% the color I would get in this car.
