Default NAV-INFO ???

Does anyone know why their is no Traffic Info available in Canada ?? I have the Serius Subscription free for 3 months, and just got the car a month ago, and the service manager at my dealer mentioned that it did not function in Montreal ??
Sounds really rediculous.
I bought my wife a Volvo XC60 R-Design with the Nav System, and that one receives traffic reports.
Does anyone know anything more about this.....sure would be nice to get those traffic reports.

That is strange considering Sirius is obviously getting your local traffic input, else your wife's Volvo would also not be receiving same.

Is the Volvo NAV system integrated with Sirius as well?

Looking into this earlier - I think TO is the only Canadian city so far with local info, so here in Vancouver our TMC info is actually pulled from the US (Seattle). Subscription renewals to acquire traffic also via the US Sirius.

I dont think the info is tied into Serius, because it worked when the subscription expired ( We renewed it a few days later ) and the info on the screen says TMZ. As well, there is obviously Traffic info available, and it comes from some sort of radio signal, as that is what is indicated in the Volvo, so I am quite surprised my new 2011 Audi does not get it.

The Service Manager at my dealer said he has heard this from all his customers with NAV systems, and was waiting for answers from Audi Canada.

Kinda sucks, as half the advantage of the system is to see where traffic is, or accidents, and get around them before sitting in it.

Comon Audi Canada....figure it out !!!
