I experienced an undesirable loss of functionality on my B7 A4 (CH/LH and DRL no longer worked, threw error code with sensor disconnected) when disabling the rain/light sensor, and for some reason the VCDS coding to disable the rain sensor ONLY did not work. Hence, my desire to create this work-around. Plus, now that I've tuned the glass transmissivity way down to about 15%, I'm happy with the job it does most of the time... but at least now I have the option to take manual control of my intermittent wiping when I desire to do so.

Default last delayed wipe after wash is programmed in.

What I find weird is that I'll run the washers and then they stop (or at least I think they do). It makes another pass several seconds later smearing things up. WTF is that?
It saves me having to do it. The wipers will go a few times after I let up on the washer but there is still fluid dribbling down from the top of the windshield...the clean up wipe clears it.

Default Change out the wiper blades if it smears.

Newish blades don't smear on the cleanup wipe.
I also use Rain-X windshield washer fluid. No problems.

Ditto here. I also wind up forgetting to hold the stalk down when driving the wifemobile.

Re: the "clean-up wipe," this is also a VCDS-programmable feature just like the three-blink lane change.
