Default Pre purchase questions 2012 S5.

Been on the lookout for one of these for a while and have finally found one with the right equipment (including 2013 facelift).
is there anything I should be on the lookout for? form what the seller has said so far it has had every service's on time. it has 120 000km's on it.
Was checked this February and approved for another 2 years.
The only thing that set's me a bit of is that it was imported to Norway in 2015 and has had 3 owners after that and the seller got it in May this year, and already selling it..
any tips would be much appreciated.

Thank's in advance.

I don't know about the European market, but here in the USA, having four owners in four years would be a concern for me. Did you ask the seller why he or she was selling it?

I haven’t asked in detail but he stated that he needed a SUV to drag heavy’er trailers... like the s5 can pull almost 2 tonn’s. (4275kg total)
how would he not have seen that he needed more before that purchase 2 months ago?

You might want to ask specifically why he is selling it, and see if you believe his answer. And if you really like the car, perhaps you could get an independent inspection from a mechanic that you trust.

the reason was he said he needed an suv to pull bigger trailers. with for seems odd that he didn't think about that 2 months ago when buying it.. I do really like it and I will get it inspected if I get that far, it is about 7 hours away from me so I thought I'd check for some answers on the web first.

That is really fishy. I'd make sure to get it inspected by someone who has the right equipment to pull any codes from the computer. Could be sticker shock coming up on a carbon cleaning or something.

Look for another 2012 S5, there are many out there, this one just does not feel right. The conversion would have to be properly doen and it may not met US emissions, safety or equipment requirements. The 2012 S5 is a great car, no real issues, perhaps a carbon cleaning, but is the car is driven in the manner to which one would expect should not be a problem. I have had mine since March 2018 and love it.
