rattle in drivers door
Anyone else notice a rattling noise in the drivers side door? Just a little bit of pressure applied by my arm stops it from happening. Pretty annoying.
I'm not the most mechanically inclined so presume this is something I need to visit the dealer for?
Other than the new rattling noise, I love my A5

Brand new '18 A5? Absolutely have the dealer look at this and fix it.
I had noise coming from a lower dash panel when my '15 S5 was a few months old. It was a vibration type rattle that would only happen at low speeds or bumpy roads. In similar fashion to yours, I could press my knee against the panel and make it stop.
Told the dealer about it when I brought it in for my first 5K service. They were able to duplicate the noise and noticed that it went away when the panel was removed. So they applied some felt to the metal framework where the panel was attached. That cured it.
