Rear Differential Oil Change

Rear Differential Oil Change
I own a 2010 A5 2.0 with 100k miles on it, including about 2000 track miles. Do I need to change the rear differential oil fluid? I can't find anything in the manual about it. I also can't find any references to the A5 rear differential on the internet either.

Try googling "audi a5 rear differential oil change" Plenty of people change their differential oils. A4 and A5 are pretty much the same, so any DIY for A4 applies to A5.
Also search for "audi fluid capacity chart" and you'll find how much fluid and the part number you need.
I changed mine at 65K. I recommend changing if you'd like your differential to last. I had a TDI that had the differential fail at 100K after a 4 hour drive up the mountains. VW/Audi says it's lifetime oil, but they mean the expected lifetime of the transmission, which is less than 100K miles.
