My 2015 RS5 has developed an odd fan condition. The fan on the right, as you are looking at the engine, runs no matter what the temp is. It can be 30 degrees and started cold and the fan will start up and run. It shuts off about 2 minutes after I turn the car off. I have yet to see the fan on the left run. engine temp is fine. The fan will also spool up and then stop when you open the doors.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried to scan with something like a VCDS and pull any codes that might be present? Could be a bad fan control module, could be a thermostat going bad. My fans always run for a few minutes after I shut the car off when it's cold outside. Not so much when it's hot. It gets in the low 100's regularly here and my fan never runs after the car is off. It was 60 degrees out today and the fan ran for a minute or two after I shut the car off. I've noticed the oil temps are often hotter when it's cooler and cooler when it's hot outside.

My fans do not run when the car/engine is cold unless the a/c is on.
