RS5 Front License Plate Pictures
I moved and am saddled with a front license plate (NJ). I would love to see different pictures of owners solutions for an RS5 front plate.

Not an RS but plate not going on the grille nonetheless. |

Constrained by State and Parking Regs...

Our parking security system at the University requires both a front and rear plate, or they issue tickets. Also, the automatic gates will not rise unless the sensors read your front plate. I went with the traditional location, but used a Weather Tech Frame that picks up the red highlights in the wheels…

I saw one of these installed on a RS7 at the Audi dealership here in Fort Collins

That looks like a corvette….

And BTW, disappearing license plates are probably illegal. Still, it would be fun to have them on the back for those speed cameras. But if you're astute enough to toggle the plate down before a camera you can probably control your speed enough to forego the speeding ticket. |
I considered the "Show & Go" but I've heard of stories where if not properly secured and left in the hidden position, highway speeds can draft and rip the plate holder off. Losing both the holder and the plate in the process.
Another hazard, if left hidden is those cement parking stop slabs. Thereby ripping the plate holder and front diffuser if not careful. |

But I digress.

Slightly off-topic: why do people find the need to obscure their license plate when posting pictures? Never quite understood that.
