S5 Cab 3.0T RPMs at 70mph, 80mph
Took 3.0T S5 in for 45K service and now I'm 99% sure the RPMs in Comfort/D at 80mph (2100 rpm) are higher than they were before the service (1800-1900). And I'm noticing a lower MPG because of it. What do others see for RPMs at those two speeds, 70mph and 80mph?

The only way for the gearing to have changed is with a different transmission, or you have changed wheel/tyres to a smaller circumference than previous (and OEM spec). More likely is that you were seeing 1800rpm @ 70mph in top gear, not 80mph. If you are in a location with severe winter conditions, fuel economy suffers. Further, if you are in a location in the US where certain brands / sources of winter blend gasoline contains high levels of butane, then fuel economy will suffer.
