Default S5 Cargo Net

Good Morning all;

I have a new S5 and am astonished that Audi does not offer a cargo net for the trunk, as they do for the A4's, TT's, etc.

Has anyone been able to figure out if one of the other models nets will fit the S5? Or is there an aftermarket net I could purchase?

I hate my groceries rattling around in the trunk.

Thank you,
Amber

Just get one from bed bath and beyond. Costs 20 bucks.

The 4 silver rings in the trunk are to hold a trunk net. I bought one from Audi. It stretches flat in the trunk and I put the groceries that would roll around under it. Works great.

I took mine out of my 2005 S4 right before I traded it in. Fits perfectly in the S5.

The OEM 4 point trunk cargo net is so tight in its tension and weave that a loaf of bread will be flatter than a tortilla by the time you get home. I use an old cargo net from a past MBZ SUV and it holds bags and bags of groceries and other things great because it is woven much looser and have never used the Audi one again after test fitting it.

I use mine to hook onto the grocery hooks and down into the lower rear hooks. It has a 'pocket' that I use to hold some of my car cleaning supplies.

Default Cargo Net

I have a 2012 S5 (Canada) and it has a net. Maybe you should talk to your dealer. Sounds like it was missed.....unless US vehicles don't get one. Maybe it has to do with the trim (Premium vs Prestige)as we only have one trim option in Canada.
