Default S5 consuming lots of gasoline

hello forum. i purchased Audi S5 and it consumes lots ( 15 liters per 100km in city ) and lots of gas. I drive slow until car has 5000kilometers but so far is consuming more than I was told. Anybody here with same problem I have when S5 was new?

That is about the same as 15.7 miles/gallon here in the States. For a new S5 only driven around the city it seems about right. Especially considering driving in the city means stop and go with little long distance driving. I'm getting about 19.1 mpg overall in my S5 Cabriolet.

What were you expecting? You got a V8.

It should get better over time.

no it wont get better, i have 23,000 miles on mine and i get 200 miles per tank at the most. You dont buy a sports car and complain about gas mileage.

Are you in Poland? I can feel your pain since gas is much more expensive in Europe than here...

Yes, but the US is a much bigger country we drive much longer distances on average.
