Default small scratch on lower left rear bumper

sigh, its been less than 2 months, i scratched my car on the lower left side of the rear bumper.

I tried Nu scratch remover but didn't do it, I can still see greyish scratches after rubbing the compound. So i am planning to have it repainted. Got a quote for $200ish CAD which is pretty good and the garage is a trusted one.

My concern is will the colors not match for the repainted rear bumper and the rest of the car? I mean the brilliant black is just a name for the common black right? (correct me if i'm wrong). So most likely the bumper and the rest of the car's colors will match, 90% if not 100%?

If there is any other alternative, please do let me know!

Any input would be greatly appreciated

Well, it isn't as simple as black is black, but if they have the paint code from Audi they should have no problem matching it. The good news is that Brilliant Black is the easiest color to match, and you shouldn't have any issues with the new paint not matching the old.

try meguiars 105 with a polisher[rotary] and then apply a heavy wax to fill in the remaining scratch. if this does n't cut it, then your only choice is to repaint.

The car is still quite new so discoloration shouldn't be an issue. If your body shop knows what they are doing, they should be able to match the paint just fine. If it doesn't match, they are incompetent.
