Status = Factory Order Bank?
 

Now that my dealer actually received an allocation (I ordered in Nov.) and I am waiting for the move to "In Production" and an estimated build-week, I am wondering if Audi provides estimated delivery dates to dealers at this point in the process?

A competing dealer is telling me that Audi Access states that the delivery-to-dealer estimate for my order is May-June. How could he know that when my own dealer claims to not?

Your dealer can pull up all that information. I ordered mine on November 2. I followed up with him on December 1st and he was able to send me a screenshot of the order off his computer. That screenshot included estimated production date, port date, carrier date and dealer date. Not sure why your dealer isn't forthcoming with the info.

Even though ordered in Nov. the allocation was so new, none of that was posted yet, but my dealer did give me all that info yesterday ... ETA on car is early April :)

My question was how could another dealer state that Audi emphatically had an ETA of May/June ... obviously hoping to mislead me thinking I'd not want to wait that long and buy something from him.

I now know that as a pre-sold car, only my dealer can see this level of detailed info anyway. Learn something new everyday.
