So to get a tire that performs well in snow you’d have to get snow specific tires? I live in Kentucky so we don’t get a ton of snow but my driveway is kind of steep so that’s why I’m thinking a tire that does well in snow would be helpful. I think ill be ok with the Quattro

Yes, with the lake effect it makes good sense to have dedicated snows. I used to live just down "the road" from you and know it well. I actually have them for my '99 from when I lived in IL. They are now 20 years olds, and still have plenty of tread. I only run them 2 - 3 months down here in KY, before it starts warming up. It may make sense here, if you want dedicated summer tires. ...A snow emergency here is 2" or more. We will get the occasional 10" snow fall, but it is rare. YearlyAvg is ~15".
