BP refused to join the list and be tested, but I get great gas mileage and performance with their gas, and they have detergent in all their gas grades.

Costco also promise they get their gas from top-tier gasoline suppliers and has detergent. Not only that, they promise that their pump filters are always checked and super-clean causing it to pump gas faster with less sediments. And I do notice the Costco pumps are pretty fast.

Honestly, while Exxon is listed in the Top Tier list, the Exxon's near me seem to have slow pumps and I don't get better performance with them. Shell is good, but just as good as the performance I get from BP or Costco.

I suppose it's best you test the gas stations near you, and observe how your car performs and how much better your gas mileage is.
