Default Tow Hook License plate mount kits

Could any of you recommend a kit? I have my eye on this one:

from iJDM

Anyone have any other experiences with other ones?

I haven't mounted a front plate myself, but there's some good info in this thread:

Can you mount the front license plate anywhere else??

I ordered this one yesterday: Audi Front Bumper License Plate Mounting Bracket Tow Hook Holder A4 A5 A7 S4 S5 | eBay

Kind of curious of how much the plate will be sticking out of the bumper. Will update when I get the mount, after installing it.

They all seem to be about the same and all seem to be around the same price. Except for that us mill works one (US Mill Works - Front License Plate Brackets)... that ones pricey and I don't see why.

Installed mine today.
Looks quite good imho. The plate doesn't stick out too much, and I did mount it on the lowest position possible. Not a big fan of the lack of symmetry (compared to the center position of the plate), but it's better than what I was expecting.

Alex, is this still working out for you? Any problems with the kit?

No technical issues so far, but still not sure if I like the lack of symmetry. I'll keep using it for now though.

Default How about noise?

Do you hear any additional wind noise from the plate as the air squeezes around it… I remember the sound added by driving lights on my other cars...

I haven't noticed any noise, but I usually drive listening to music so...
