Hi all, I'm considering a 2010 S5 Cabriolet with the 7-speed S-tronic transmission. It looks like it has the 19" wheels and drive select, but does NOT have the Bang and Olufsen stereo. It has 91k kms (56k miles).

This will be a 3rd vehicle for us, to kick around in with the wife and 2 kids. Is there anything I should be looking for? I have done a lot of reading about the common problems (t-stats, waterpumps, etc). Overall I get this generation of Audis is pretty solid, but I don't want a maintenance nightmare/headache. I had a 2006 M Roadster which I sold a year ago, and I'm sort of wanting a "fun" car again (realize its a bit apples and oranges)

The vehicle is being sold through a used car dealership. It looks in good shape (other than some bumper and curb rash work that the dealer said they'd take care of). One owner, no accidents, however, there are no maintenance records except for some service entries in the Carfax (Canadian "Carproof") report.

The one thing I found is that the car had this weird wobble/shimmy when going over bumps. Feels to me like perhaps the control arms may need to be done. Is this a big job?

Is the lack of B&O stereo a big deal?

I guess I'm looking for some guidance either way, as I'm sort of wavering on this decision. Is it better to wait for a B8.5 (2013+) to come around?
