You may be expecting a bit much. I also have the Xi3s. They are a great winter tire but their weakness is slush. I think with the slight rear wheel bias there may be a moment of rear slippage until more power is shifted to the front? I would say in that event give a bit of gas and point the steering wheel in the direction of the slip...and have some fun

Winter dedicated tires transform our cars. They make winter driving a blast. I get up early when it snows so that I can play with the snow plows.
