I agree, electronic gremlins in German cars are nothing new, I had it in one form or another in most of my German cars.

Which is weird because BMW use to do the star button and I never had an issue. Ever.

I find the star button to be pretty useless...partly because I was so disappointed when I learned that essentially it can only control a few pretty lame functions and couldn’t be fully customized. Missed opportunity I feel.
