Sure, you’ll just need to wait until they update it there. We’re all trying to be 2019 early adopters

yep and you’ll get the entire map package via SD card vs. OTA. OTA was helluva easier though FWIW.

My last update was via computer to SD card and it went fairly quick. I’ll wait until it’s available to download as a complete package.

Where do you get the SD update onto your card, and check if it's available?

It’s completely laid out in Nikon1’s post above.

Oh I missed that. Why is there only like 5 posts per page on this forum, I thought I had page 2 covered.

You can change that in the users control panel (CP) under edit options.

I just had my car in for an oil overfill warning, which is apparently related to single digit temperatures. They did a software update to the ECU that is supposed to fix the issue. Since we may not have weather that cold again this winter, it may be next winter before I know if it worked. It hasn't shown up again since the temperatures got back up into the 20s.

Nikon1,
I tried following your instructions, through Windows, got to the appropriate folder to choose North America or a smaller local file, then am hit with an error message that says service not available. Do you have to have an Audi Connect subscription to make this work? I let mine expire after the 6 month trial. I have a 2018 A5 Sportback by the way.

No — the first (5) map updates are free. Are you in the US? Is it possible it’s the Audi Update server is down? Have you tried this on a couple of different days?

Sorry — I have no explanation outside of contacting Audi Customer Support to try to determine the problem.
