Default 18 vs 19” wheels with sport suspension

I am about to order a new A5 Sportback Prestige with the sport suspension. Do the 19s ride noticeably harsher than the 18. Really excited about every aspect of the car but haven’t been able to drive a car with the 19s. Really appreciate any thoughts you guys might have.

I have the A5 Sportback with 19" wheels and sport suspension and can say the car has a very smooth ride, even on the terrible California roads. The ride is firm enough that most imperfections are not transferred to the driver and major bumps are felt but are not jarring. Body lean even in aggressive cornering is minimal. The quality of the seats with their excellent support helps a great deal.

Thanks for your reply this is just the kind of info I need. Here in Florida are roads are really quite good so I’m guessing I may be OK. Any other inputs would be greatly appreciated.

I have an 18' A5 coupe with 19's. I'm coming from a 13' A5 coupe with 18's and i'm really quite surprised and happy at how comfortable the ride is with the new A5 and the 19's. Go with the 19's they looks amazing and the ride, in my opinion are better than my 13' A5 with 18's.

You're going to love this car, coming from the 13' A5, the new redesign is simply mind blowing.

Does your A5 have sport suspension or the std one?

I had regular suspension on the 13' A5 with 18's, but the sports suspension on the 18' A5 with 19's.

The ride is firm but comfortable, you feel the road (which i love) but it's not jarring. I much prefer the ride in the 18' A5 with sports suspension.
