2019 Audi RS5 Sportback - Information
I wanted to create a thread for those of us who have placed orders for the RS5 Sportback. A place where we can wait together lol.
Really, I would just like to share information pertaining specifically to this vehicle as we get closer to the launch and see what people were able to negotiate and timetables on arrival. I'll go first. I've actually placed two orders. Order Placed with Dealer: September 14, 2018 Estimated Production Complete: December 8, 2018 Estimated Ship Departure: December 23, 2018 Estimated Domestic Port Arrival: January 13, 2019 Order Placed with Dealer: October 1, 2018 Estimated Production Complete: November 16, 2018 Estimated Ship Departure: November 24, 2018 Estimated Domestic Port Arrival: December 20, 2018 The factory still has not picked up either of my orders but from the estimated timetables it does not take very long to complete the build once they have started. It's not looking likely that I'll have my vehicle before January but I still have my fingers crossed. |

Here is what is was just told. My car was ordered on Sept 11. Car was a build week 4118, which was last week. It was completed on Oct 11. It is due to ship on Oct 17, with arrival to the port in the US on Nov 20. Don’t yet have an ETA to the dealer yet though. |

Did anyone order the OEM Black Audi Rings and Badges (4ZP) by chance? I really wanna see how they all look straight from them and how they integrate with the BO package. I've seen wrapped ones, but wondering what the OEM quality and shade is like, when they get here.
