That would be great. This wait has been horrible.

Assuming this is correct, I expect I will actually need some TPMS sensors for my old RS5 wheels so that the info can be displayed in the MMI on the new RS5...
Yes you will need to get sensors. You should also double check fitment to ensure that the wheels will fit and clear the ceramics (if equipped on your car). If you don’t get sensors you will have to code off the TPMS and that is not recommended.

we all knowingly bought a 2019 model and last I checked it’s not 2019 yet.

I too am anxious but know the wait will be worth it!

Sweet me too from audi of Oakland but no dates yet ordered on 11/25. Mines just about the same but - dynamic steer, + driver assistance, +b&o, +cold weather (I plan on an aftermarket wheel to get the flatbottom back), + mythos black.

What dealership are you ordering from? I'd have to assume our cars would come over on the same ship.

@Tbone323 the new model years usually come out at the end of the previous year. This is a late release. I was looking forward to driving my 2019 for a few weeks in 2018 lol. As we can see that won't be happening.

ya, I get it. I’m just enjoying the fact that the dealers launch cars aren’t getting here more than 3-4 weeks ahead of mine and all without the $5k dealer markup! Ha!

Thanks, that's what I thought. I'm confident the wheels I have will fit but you never know until I actually try and fit them. I'm pretty sure the offset is basically the same between the B8.5 RS5 & the B9 RS5 (+25 vs +26 or something around there) and neither my current car or the future car have ceramics so hopefully I'm good.

Now I just need to find the part # for the appropriate sensors...

Yes, that is essentually what I said, how would one have ordered a RS5 with Black Optics package & 19" wheels?

I had to change mine to 19" wheels after I bought my Black Optics S6.

Just got confirmation that my second build is complete. Vehicle also showing on dealers website. I'm only purchasing one so if anyone is in or near the Houston area there will be a Nardo Gray RS5 Sportback available to my spec.

Anybody else have any updated info?
