Ten years ago I remember paying to "open the book" when building my R8, and paying extra to have the rims finished in "anthracite." And, it was truly anthracite color. That's also back when you had to open the book to order Suzuka Gray, which was really metallic white. I miss that car...drove her 5 years. Sold her to a guy who totalled her in a month.

The only color difference for the wheels from 2018 to 2018 is the milled wheel, which went from anthracite to titanium (as it gained +4mm of offset). The bi color wheels that come included with the black optic package are anthracite. There is a slight shade difference between anthracite and high gloss black (anthracite is metallic).

Have any lights been removed from inside the hatch of the 2019 RS5 or S5 SB? I know that Audi engaged in some cost cutting partially through the 2018 MY and removed one light and grocery hook from inside the trunk of the A4/S4.

I'm counting 2 lights, 2 hooks, 2 straps, 2 nets and 4 tie-downs.

That's great news. I'm glad that the $2k difference between the S5 and S4 yields an additional light bulb and grocery hook at least.

That and the sleeker exterior are the obvious benefits, but I'm glad that Audi didn't extend a particularly lame form of cost-cutting to the 5s. I had been on the fence between the S4 and S5, but I think the extra trunk light pushes me over the edge.

And they're more than boring light bulbs, they're thin LED strips!

Ha- i do wish the SB had grocery hooks. I custom installed 2 in my Q5 and they are very useful. But this time around I don’t really want to drill 4 holes in my privacy cover. (nor gorilla glue them as one person did)

But, on the bright side . . . Another reason NOT to do the grocery shopping (assuming you still have the Q5 and your spouse is driving it).
