2019 RS5 Wastegate solenoid
just turned 1500 miles and i had a check engine light come on. I wish the Audi's would provide an alert or message with a code on the MMI. My old BMW always would provide the code as an alert on the maintenance screen. Thought it could be the gas cap, but several starts and stops never cleared the code. Turns out the wastegate soleniod was stuck closed in bank 1. Dealer tested the valve and electric connection. Dealer told me to drive a while and see if the fault is generated again. Hopefully, no issues. I would like to be able to diagnose and clear these myself without taking a trip to the dealer.
