3 questions about the B9 S5
Quite excited about the B9 S5. The AUDI USA car builder is up.
But I don't see the option of a rear sunshade as the current one has
Also, anyone has seen the heated steering wheel?
Lastly, I wonder if the "dynamic steering" is worth the money.
Thanks,

I had a '15 S5 Premium Plus, and it didn't have a sunshade. I wasn't aware that any of the previous S5's had this feature.
I have not seen the heated steering wheel.
Re: the Dynamic Steering, I believe that is something new to the '18 model, so I don't think anyone can answer that. Maybe some of the car reviews include it? I had the Sport Differential on my S5 and it made the car lots more fun through corners.
Not sure about the shift paddles. Again, brand new model with a brand new (to S5) transmission. Maybe try to build an A6 with Tiptronic and see if these are available? Up to now, the S5 had a Dual Clutch Transmission, and yes... shift paddles. I can't imagine they would eliminate them on one of their "S" cars. Even my A4 has them.

I guess the rear sunshade is no longer an option for now. That's a bit of shame. I have it on my RS5 and had it on my prior S4. I prefer it over tinting the rear window as you can lower it at night as to not have compromised visibility.
The heated steering wheel doesn't have a flat bottom, otherwise it pretty much looks like the flat bottom steering wheel. You'll lose the programmable '*' button, though. The heat function goes there in its place.
The dynamic steering is not new. It was an option on the outgoing S5 Prestige as well. I think it's the best thing after the sport differential. Have it on my RS5 and wouldn't get the standard steering anymore. Check out the following thread over in the S4 forum where we discussed it quite a bit. It's basically more sporty and more direct and works in conjunction with the sport differential.

The heated steering wheel is there in the Audi US configurator for the S5. It mentions that shift paddles are still included.
As Superswiss mentioned, dynamic steering is a good combo to get with the Sport Diff. I encourage you to go through the link to the discussion thread where him and other members discussed Dynamic Steering in-depth.

I just did the same on the German configurator and it does look like they did away with it. Looks like the rear and side windows instead come tinted from the factory. I actually happened to watch an in depth review of the S5 over the weekend, and that's one thing I noticed. The side and rear windows are clearly tinted. Here's a screengrab.
