You need to post this in the B8 — A5 S5 RS5. This is the 2018 B9 car section.

I drained the transmission that's what I drained I refill it with 4 litres of oil transmission I was told a 7 L meant to go back in the box
but I managed to put only 4 no more once I open the gearbox more is running out so put the plug back in what can I do to put the rest of oil in the gearbox
also when I put it in drive reverse or any Gear it doesn't move display come up on dashboard gearbox

you you need to read up on this. It’s not as simple as just dumping the fluid and refilling. You have to fill up, heat up the fluid, cycle gears, add more fluid etc. There is a process

i would start with YouTube or some other forum. There is a drain plug on the outside and I don’t know about the 7 spd but on the old 6 spd dsg there is an internal plug as well. Maybe why u can only get 4 litres in. You also are supposed to use VCDS or some ther tool to monitor the temperature. DSG fluid expands as it heats up and to get the levels correct you shouldn’t just be guessing at this. Sounds like this might have been a service better left to your dealer

I know on the Porsche Dual clutch tranny, you need a special software to change the fluid and it’s like $1500 to do at the dealer.
